The Black Tie & Tiaras Charity Ball

The event will take place at the Holiday Inn, Royal Victoria in Sheffield on the 3rd February 2018 in the stunning ballroom. You can shake your stuff on the dance floor, gamble at the fun casino and indulge in a fabulous three course meal with friends and family. The bar will be open until 1am, so what better way to end dry January than to dig out your posh frocks and tuxedo and go to the ball?

  1. Fingers crossed for everything to go well at the ball and especially good luck for Kilimanjaro! Must be an amazing feeling when you finally climb at the tip! It is a great cause that I am sure many people in the area will be happy to attend!

  2. Wow, that’s amazing that you’re going to climb Kilimanjaro! I’d love to do it someday, too. I’m a little far away in Canada to attend your event, but if I lived closer I’d go! Good luck!

  3. Sandy N Vyjay

All the best for the charity Ball. I am sure it will be a grand success, given the cause for which it is being done. Will be looking out for your posts about the event as well as your Kilimanjaro adventure.

  4. Sounds a great way to fundraising and helping a charity, wish for a successful event and goid luck on your climb to Kili.

  5. What a great idea to support meaningful project! And I guess Kilimanjaro is on wish list of many people.

  6. This sounds like a good charity fund raisier. How is it going booking wise? Hope all goes well with the event.

    • It’s hard work but s lot of fun. I’m hoping to meet minimum numbers in the next few weeks so I can sleep again. Do you fancy a trip to sheffield? It’s got a lot of fabulous things to see!

  7. I did the Kilimanjaro 3 years ago and I would never do it again. In fact, I wish I would have spent that money on a nice beach vacation. Raising money for a great cause is a wonderful thing to do, so I think you are doing the right thing. Best of luck with the climb!

  8. This sounds really interesting! We would consider going to this ball if we were in town. Thanks for sharing!

  9. It seems like you are well looked after for your £50 due to everything that’s included. Also with being able to book a whole table, you can get a group of friends to join. Sounds like a great night.

  10. My girlfriend is just back from Kilimanjaro and she has many stories from the trip. From what she said, the final climb is the hardest but it’s so worth it when you get to the top. Great cause and good luck!

    • Thanks David. Did your girlfriend make it to the top? The last day is definitely a killer at 12-16 hours but at least there will be my wine at the hotel to look forward to
